Therefore, one never should ignore any problem does not matter if it’s major or not.

Loss of hearing has no particular time to come into a human’s life. Hearing loss can affect anyone at any time in your life. Some potential causes of hearing loss are ageing, exposure to loud noise for a longer period of time, genetics, other medical conditions such as meningitis, measles, certain autoimmune disorders etc. Hearing loss can be of many types but 3 of them are most common.

  1. Sensorineural Hearing Loss: The nerves of the inner part of the ear and the hair cells of the ear are associated with this type of hearing loss. Hair cells help to vibrate when any sound wave comes and release some chemical messenger which stimulates the nerves that help in hearing. In this type of hearing loss people get to hear the sound in a very low volume and in a distorted manner even if the sound is loud and clear enough. That is the reason people with this type of disorder have a problem in hearing. Treatment of this type of hearing loss still has not much success. But using hearing aids can be very beneficial. Best ent hospital in India offers this treatment and majority of the people who have taken the treatment says they are satisfied.
  2. Conductive Hearing Loss: In this type of hearing loss sound cannot be conducted from outer part of the ear to the inner part of the ear. This type of hearing loss is mechanical in nature. It can be caused by Wax buildup in the ear, the fluid present in the Middle part of the ear, infection in the ear, a ruptured eardrum, any foreign particle present in the ear, trauma, tumours etc. This can be treated if identified at an early stage and can be improved partially or completely in hearing. But then hearing aids are used for any remaining untreated portion.
  3. Mixed Hearing Loss: This is worse than the other two because patients possessing this type of hearing loss have problem of sensorineural hearing loss and a conductive hearing loss also. That means there are some issues in the inner part of the ear and also the outer part and middle part of the ear. But this can get better with treatment and be cured partially or completely. Doctors generally prescribe to use the hearing aids. They can help a person to hear like a normal people.
